Locked Up Inside Us

13 Jun

by Scott Osborne

Locked up inside us is all our hope,
like a knot tied tightly in a rope.
If we let that knot release,
maybe, just maybe, we’ll find world peace.
If we could all learn to change,
then there wouldn’t be guns
with varying range.
No more killing, no more strife,
no more stabbing with a knife.
Then everyone can be beautiful.
