A Random Face

13 Jun

by Celeste Myrick

A random face in the school yearbook,
A random stranger walking down the hall.
Can’t we all be friends?
This will never fall in my vocabulary.
Just because we’re different doesn’t mean we should be treated unlike the other crowds.
A wall between two different people symbolizes the line of symmetry, separating the two different souls from joining together
To make peace.
I’m not a stranger.
I’m not a ghost.
I’m not some random face.
I’m my own self.
